Family and community is one of the key ingredients for a good life. Whether it’s relatives or our oldest and closest friends, all of us need that vital group of people to sustain us through good times and bad.

Complimentary to your existing network, we’ve built a close-knit community that is in every sense a family, not just nice homes.

The common areas at the Shores have been designed to maximise social interaction among residents and their guests, and to foster a true spirit of community. Our monthly activities and events calendar, contributed to by the Resident’s Committee and the Estate Co-ordinator, will give you plenty of opportunities to take part in gatherings and to make the most of our wonderful Club House and Rec Club facilities.

We’ve also built community with our neighbours: forging strategic ties with local organisations such as the Southern Vales Christian College, the Aldinga Bay Bowls Club Inc., Willunga Bowls Club and the Aldinga Football Club and local service providers. Over time, these partnerships are growing in number and in meaning, helping to ensure the Shores is a vibrant and active participant in our local community.

We have been living here for nearly 10 years now and are very happy here. We’ve made some wonderful friends and have been on some lovely holidays with them. We have great facilities to use including an indoor swimming pool, lovely billiard table, dining room, bar, gym equipment. We have lots of social events and dinners. It is a very secure gated community with a medical alarm system in each unit and phone communication with each other. We don’t have to worry about maintaining the house or front garden. Our village is managed extremely well by a small company who charge very competitive weekly fees. For peace of mind, enjoyment and quality of life, it is all worth it.

Living at Aldinga Shores has been a very happy time for me. I have made new friends and enjoy going to the gym and swimming pool, the many social activities and the security.

“Like a lot of people in my age group, I never wanted to leave my home with its large garden, but things happen and I moved into Aldinga Shores and I have never regretted the move. It is such a lovely, friendly place to live. It’s like living in a holiday resort.”

“We moved into Aldinga Shores seven years ago; it was the best decision we have ever made. There are lots of activities and if you cannot find something that interests you, you are not really trying. It is like being on holiday all year round.”

Stella

“I moved into Aldinga Shores 6 months ago, the best move I ever made. So close to the shopping centre, public transport, cafes….. I really enjoy the social aspect of it all. Many events are celebrated throughout the year. I have made many new friends and look forward to what each new day brings. Don’t leave it too long before you come and join us, it’s a great life!”

SECURITY, COMMUNITY, COMFORT, FACILITIES and AFFORDABILITY
“The Security aspects of the village are very important to us with the increase in criminal offences in modern society. The Community in Aldinga Shores consists of a cross section of different backgrounds and there is a great opportunity to forge new friendships. The units are just what we are looking for. There are 2 and 3 bedroom units with the attention to Comfort, quality and ongoing maintenance which includes the gardens. The Facilities are great: gymnasium, swimming pool, bowling rink, Club house, library and hairdressing salon. Compared with other Retirement Villages, the Affordability of the units compares favourably and is value for your investment. We are very happy here and have no regrets whatsoever that we made the decision to choose Aldinga Shores, which is well managed and run.”
