peace of mind
From our own research we know that, perhaps more than any other concern, security – that feeling of being safe in your own home – is at the forefront of people’s minds in retirement.
And it’s certainly one of the key reasons for people to consider Aldinga Shores. You’ll find well thought out practical measures in every home and throughout the community to safeguard our residents.
For many residents, just having other like minded people on the doorstep and living within a security-gated community puts minds at ease and is often a blessing for family members who previously worried about their wellbeing.
CCTV and entry phone system
Aldinga Shores is a fully fenced, security gated community. The main gate to our village is locked other than times specified by Management. As a resident you have an access card and visitors you wish to welcome can gain entry through our TV integrated system.
When a visitor buzzes you on the entry panel by the front gate, you simply select a pre-set channel on your TV to see who’s there. You can talk to them on the intercom and buzz to open the gate without leaving your home. The gate will automatically lock again behind them.
24 hour personal careline
Located in all homes our emergency monitoring service is designed to help put your mind at rest throughout your residency – 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
It’s reassuring to know that if you ever need assistance, someone is always within easy reach. Pressing the pendant puts you straight through to friendly, helpful and fully trained services at the Control Centre. From your call they can identify the home and the occupier to provide a speedy response where necessary, whether from emergency services, the Estate manger or nearby family.
the estate manager
Friend and organizer – The Estate Manager oversees the day-to-day running of Aldinga Shores.
The Estate Manager is also enthusiastic about fostering The Shores’ community spirit in conjunction with our Residents. Together we design our social calendar around popular events such as Melbourne Cup Lunch, Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea and Christmas in July to name a few. We also encourage residents to use our magnificent community facilities for regular group gatherings and activities.
When you’re away on holiday, it’s nice to know there is someone on site tending to your interests.
